Alicia Vennos, Film Commissioner
Alicia Vennos has been Mono County’s Economic Development Director and Film Commissioner since 2010, a proud member of Film Liaisons in California State-wide (FLICS), and has lived in Mammoth Lakes since 1999. Like most Mono County residents, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast and has a deep passion for the Eastern Sierra. Her familiarity with the landscape allows her to help location professionals and production teams with specific location needs, no matter what type of project, terrain, and scenery is needed. The Film Commission office also assists with the ins and outs of the permitting process, local talent and production assistance, and determining land ownership and jurisdictions. Whether the best location for your needs is high up on 11,053’ Mammoth Mountain, out along scenic Benton Crossing Road, around the picturesque June Lake Loop, or farther north in Walker or Bridgeport, Alicia and her staff are here to offer suggestions, assistance and guidance.
Please contact the Film Commission office directly with questions. We look forward to having you film your next project here in Mono County and California’s film-friendly Eastern Sierra.
